Specially trained in deception and camouflage, the “Ghost Army” was a mysterious cadre of artists, theatre majors and Mad Men (that’s Madison Ave for the uninitiated) who helped turn the tide of WWII.
Drawing the enemy toward fake targets built from scrap wood and canvas, Ghost Army paved the way for Allied Forces to move safely into position for key battles. Their tactics saved countless lives – but they were never formally recognized until the unit was declassified in 1996.
Wear this conversation starter with pride – just be prepared to tell the story.
Comes in a traditional trucker (mesh back) and a "dad" hat (full cloth, pre-curved and unstructured).
Wash T-shirts on a gentle machine cycle with cold water. Tumble dry on low heat. To avoid possible shrinkage, lay flat to dry. To maintain the life of the design, t-shirts should be ironed inside out on a low heat setting without use of steam. Dry cleaning is not recommended.
